Why Srishti exists

Founded by Sudipta Chattoraj, with the intent that eco-friendly products should reach your homes.

Srishti calls itself a small contribution to protecting the planet. That is the whole brief. Reduce, reuse and recycle, applied to things people actually want to keep in their homes.

From waste to art

From old newspaper to finished piece

    Old newspapers and paper waste are collected.

    The paper is pulped and bound into a workable clay.

    Hand-forming

    Each body is shaped by hand, never moulded at scale.

Exhibitions, skill-development workshops and CSR programmes, oldest first.

  1. 28–30 July 2022

    Expo Paint & Coatings Exhibition, New Delhi

    Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

    We set up our own eco-friendly stall at the Expo Paint & Coatings Exhibition in New Delhi's Pragati Maidan. It was one of our earliest steps onto a national stage, introducing our handcrafted décor to a much wider audience.

  2. September 2022

    Skill-Development Workshop with Dalmia Cement, Odisha

    Odisha

    We partnered with Dalmia Cement on an intensive 15-day skill-development and entrepreneurship-awareness workshop, upskilling 32 women in eco-friendly ways of making garden and home décor products. The strongest pieces went on to be sold through our website and social pages, so every purchase supported the local women artisans behind them directly. The workshop was inaugurated by Chetan Srivastava, Executive Director of Dalmia Cement, whose support made the program possible.

  3. September 2022

    Training the Tribal Community in Rajgangpur

    Rajgangpur, Odisha

    As part of the same Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Awareness program, we trained 30 people from the tribal community in Rajgangpur, with every product inspired by, and made by, the local tribal lifestyle. The closing ceremony was once again graced by Dalmia Cement's Executive Director, Mr. Chetan Srivastava, without whom this wouldn't have been possible.

  4. Skill Development in Alanda Village

    Alanda

    We took up our third village, Alanda, for a Skill Development and Employment Generation program under CSR by Dalmia Bharat Foundation, extending our women-and-livelihood work to a new community.

  5. 26 January – 1 February 2024

    PMEGP State Festival

    World Trade Center, Cuffe Parade, Gate No. 1, Stall No. 6

    We brought our eco-friendly collection of planters, wall plates, face masks and other quirky home décor to the PMEGP State Festival at the World Trade Center in Cuffe Parade, sharing sustainable living with Mumbai.

  6. February 2024

    Eco Vistas Forum: Navigating Sustainable Living

    Dr. K. M. Pillai Campus, New Panvel

    Our handcrafted products stood out at the Sustainable Expo during the Eco Vistas Forum on Sustainable Living, held at the Dr. K. M. Pillai Campus in New Panvel. Beyond events like this, our work is available year-round through our own store, Khadi India, and Amazon, every purchase a step toward a greener world.

  7. 14–15 March 2026

    ByteCamp '26, SIESGST

    SIESGST

    At ByteCamp '26, the 24-hour hackathon organised by the Technical Team of SIESGST, our handcrafted planters were gifted to the judges and our wall plates to the mentors. A proud moment supporting the people guiding tomorrow's innovators.
